The Department for Work and Pensions holds a worrying lack of data on disabled people.
Today I questioned Tom Pursglove, Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work, on his Department’s failure to investigate the reasons behind people not returning their Personal Independence Payment review forms.
I’m pleased he committed to look into this and will be following up. I am concerned that vulnerable people may be missing out on vital financial support.
