80,000 young people who lack the mental capacity to manage their own finances are locked out of their Child Trust Fund.

Ministers had the chance to rectify this with a Mental Capacity small payments scheme, but refused.

I look forward to meeting the relevant Minister, Bim Afolami MP, to discuss this further. I hope his offer is extended to campaigners.
