Today was the last DWP Questions of the year & we finally have a new Minister, Mims Davies.

Could she shed any light on why the position has been downgraded from Minister of State to Parliamentary Under-Secretary?

What about the Access to Work backlog? Will she finally get on top of that?

Her predecessor only managed to reduce the backlog by 942 from November 2022 to November 2023, with 24,339 applications still outstanding.
