I have had far too many constituents contact me because their applications for Biometric Residence Permit cards have been severely delayed due to technical errors, such as printing issues.

Some of my constituents have spent years waiting to receive their BRP cards. This is unacceptable.

At Home Office Questions, I asked the Minister what actions are being taken to address these technical problems which are contributing to delays in processing BRP applications.

Although the Minister claims that all cases have now been dealt with, this is not the reality on the ground. Many of my constituents are still waiting for their BRP cards to arrive with no clarification from the Government.
