At Education Questions today I raised the issue of funding to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
According to Claire Coutinho, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children, Families and Wellbeing, we should be happy that funding in this area has risen by 50% in the last 3 years.
So why did a SEND teacher break down in tears at my surgery as she told me how her school is struggling to give pupils the support they need?
