As Shadow Minister for Disabled People, I was proud to speak on behalf of the Labour Party during the British Sign Language Bill Committee.

While I welcome the positive strides this Bill makes, I know many of my colleagues, like me, will see it as something to build on.

I set out a few areas I know we can build upon in the future.
