Today my colleague Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP secured an urgent question on the flight which is due to deport around 50 people to Jamaica on Wednesday 2nd December.

One of my constituents is due to be on the flight. He has lived in the UK since he was 11 and has no friends or family in Jamaica, but he has 3 children in the UK.

I asked immigration minister Chris Philp whether a proper assessment has been made of the impact on children who will be left behind by those due to be deported.
