This morning I gave evidence to the Home Affairs Select Committee on behalf of the Youth Violence Commission. I spoke about school exclusions, trust in the police and the need for a long-term public health strategy – which the Select Committee first advocated in 2009!

Imagine where we might be today if we had implemented a public health approach to address violence ten years ago…
