Yesterday I spoke with Iain Dale on LBC in response to the rise in the number of under 18s cautioned or sentenced for knife possession. Instead of looking at the symptoms, we need to look at the root causes.

The number of under 18s cautioned or sentenced for knife possession offences has risen by 16% since this time last year, with 2017 set to be one of the worst years in decades for child knife deaths. This alarming statistic shows just how urgent the need for action is.
