The shocking news that poor living conditions contributed to the death of two year old Awaab Ishak has frightened many of my constituents. Damp and mould is sadly a common problem in the overcrowded homes many are living in but should not go untreated by the homeowner.

In response to the increased number of complaints I am receiving from tenants, I will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday 19th January where Lewisham Deptford constituents can raise their concerns. This will also be attended by local representatives who can provide guidance on the support available.
