Vicky Foxcroft MP for Lewisham Deptford & Shadow Minister for Disabled People
TfL are proposing to extend the Bakerloo line beyond Elephant & Castle to Lewisham, in order to serve Old Kent Road and New Cross Gate. Progressing with these proposals was a manifesto pledge made by the Mayor, Sadiq Khan, who has committed to complete the extension by 2028/2029.
A consultation on extending the Bakerloo line has opened today and is due to close on 21st April.
