Many Lewisham Deptford residents have contacted me with their concerns about some MPs reporting constituents to the Home Office after they have approached them with immigraiton issues.

I am deeply concerned about the reports and I’m reiterating my commitment to providing a safe space for constituents, no matter their immigration status.

Back in June I signed the ‘MPs Not Border Guards’ pledge through Global Justice Now – Through this I assured all Lewisham Deptford residents that my constituency surgery and office will remain spaces where all constituents can get advice and support completely confidentially.
