Vicky Foxcroft MP for Lewisham Deptford & Shadow Minister for Disabled People
For almost two years, I have been working with the Cinderella Line Campaign to push for more services to Crofton Park station. The population around Crofton Park increases year on year, but this is yet to be met with services to meet capacity demands – leaving Crofton Park residents underserved and train services overcrowded.
Last year, thanks to the hard work of the Cinderella Line campaign and community pressure, we successfully secured four new morning services for the station, which has gone some way to relieving the pressure on morning rush hour services. But we want to see more evening and weekend services to central London from the station too.
I have written to Chris Grayling MP, the Secretary of State for Transport, and David Statham, Managing Director of Southeastern Railway, asking for evening and weekend services to London Victoria. But you can help keep the pressure up too, by signing the Cinderella Line’s petition here: https://www.change.org/p/david-statham-more-victoria-trains-for-crofton-park-the-catford-loop
