Congratulations to the Millwall Lionesses on their victory in the 4^th round of the FA Cup last weekend. I asked the Prime Minister today about the disparity which is apparent in the prize money in the Men’s and Women’s FA Cup. The difference in prize money in each round is huge, with the winner of the men’s FA cup earning £3.6 million compared to just £25,000 for the winners of the Women’s FA Cup. The difference in prize money is disgusting. The Prime Minister claimed that she hoped that the FA were listening. So do I.
